Research Projects

We fund research projects around the world, concentrating in particular on those that display an unusual approach or tackle awkward subjects not necessarily focused on by research institutes. Although many of them are smallish projects that deal with important questions of detail, they all help to augment our knowledge of the ocean and, in many instances, of particular species of whales or dolphins. This knowledge provides a basis for improved conservation of the ocean and its inhabitants. You will find an overview of current and completed research projects on our pages.
